Water, Waves, & Wellbeing
Address: Newquay
Info: The Positive Waves Collective based in Newquay is offering a FREE 4-week wellbeing programme designed to help people spend time in the sea in a safe, supportive and relaxed environment.
Time in and around the ocean can be powerful for our wellbeing, but financial, physical and psychological barriers can make accessing blue spaces difficult. Our aim is to remove as many of those barriers as possible and create space for people to enjoy the water, feel good and connect with others.
These sessions are not focused on performance or goals. There’s no expectation to stand up on a surfboard or achieve anything in particular, just time to enjoy the sea, build water confidence at your own pace and experience the wellbeing benefits of being in nature.
– Small, supportive group sessions
– All equipment provided
– Open to all abilities (no experience needed)
– Activities may include bodyboarding, bodysurfing, surfing & paddlesports.
